The Raleigh Hotel pool, designed by acclaimed architect Murray Dixon, has solidified the hotel as a South Beach icon, but it is the hotel’s authentic glamour that continues to make the hotel relevant for locals and tourists alike.

The 50’s-inspired ambiance with it's signature black and white stripes and friendly hospitality makes the Raleigh a comfortable spot at any time of day, whether its for a meeting in the lobby or a quiet dinner under the trees on the restaurant patio.  The hotel's latest owner is American Fashion icon Tommy Hilfiger, who celebrated his ownership with an epic concert during Art Basel 2014 that featured a tinsel wig-wearing Miley Cyrus and an appearance by the Flaming Lips.

The hotel remains a favorite of the well-heeled.  But unlike its neighbors, the hotel and its guests are unaffected by celebrities and clichés of Collins Avenue, keeping the atmosphere relaxed and unfussy. What the icon lacks in fancy resort amenities common at its newer, splashier neighbors, it makes up in class.
