The Longines Global Champions Tour

On Thursday, the Longines Global Champions Tour kicks off in Miami Beach. Seven of the world's top riders will compete in the season opener conquering Olympic level fences while racing against the clock. The world tour is sponsored by the Swiss watchmaker Longines, who has longstanding ties to equestrian events, and spans 15 global destinations including Mexico City, Madrid, Antwerp, and Doha.
This year the field of riders includes last year's LGCT Miami Beach winner Scott Brash (GBR) and the highest ranked US riders Kent Farrington (World Number 3), McLain Ward (World Number 4) and Beezie Madden (World Number 8). The highlight event, the Grand Prix will take place on Saturday, April 9th at 3:15 pm.
The event starts on April 7 and closes April 10th, entry is free.
