Vizcaya on the Beach at ArtCenter

Now on view at ArtCenter, Vizcaya on the Beach highlights the Vizcaya Contemporary Arts Program (CAP) by exhibiting the work of Gaston Lachaise alongside recently commissioned work by Donna Altemus (2015), Maritza Molina (2015) and Ernesto Oroza (2011).
CAP commissions artists to develop site-specific work inspired by Vizcaya - an estate, conceived as a modern and subtropical interpretation of an eighteenth-century Italian villa by James Deering in 1914. Today, Vizcaya serves as an iconic piece of Miami history.
