Andy Sweet Exhibit at MBCinema

Andy Sweet is a beloved Miami Beach photographer who after completely a masters degree in in photography in the mid-1970's, devoted himself to a body of work titled "The South Beach Project".  For five years, Sweet documented the mostly Jewish community of South Beach, showcasing the vibrancy of its people.

While his untimely death at the young age of 28 cut short his career, the appeal of his images have lasted decades. Now on display, Sweet is the first public Miami Beach exhibit of Andy Sweet's photography. Curated by Dana Keith and Ed Christin, the exhibit is up now at the MIami Beach Cinematheque.

See more of Andy Sweet's in our feature or view the exhibit, up until the end of October.
