Made-Up Memories hosts the DIY workshop Monsters x Me encouraging participants to learn history, both personal and shared. Participants can write, craft, and remix their stories in the form of zines, or paper toys. Art supplies, creative prompts and a plethora of pulled archive material of Miami’s eerie past will be provided.

Blood for Dracula by Peter Morrissey

PAMM and Secret Celluloid Society present Creature Double Feature:
Frankenstein and Blood for Dracula

PAMM and Secret Celluloid Society partner to present a double feature of "Frankenstein" (1973) at 6:30 pm and "Blood for Dracula" (1974) at 8:00 pm. Guests receive free admission for arriving  in costume (no masks) and can enjoy seasonally-inspired happy hour specials and movie concessions.  Due to movie content, this event is for adult visitors.

Ghosts of Miami Cemetery Night Tour with Dr. George

Get into the spirit of Halloween and celebrate the birthday of HistorMiami's Dr. George. The annual haunted history walking tour visits a historic graveyard to hear stories about the mysterious deaths of the inhabitants including the city's early settlers, Miami’s first mayor, the Burdine family and Julia Tuttle.

Redland International Orchid Show

Celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Redland International Orchid Show at the Fruit & Spice Park today May 14 and tomorrow May 15.

The festival is the largest American Orchid Society-judged vent in the U.S., and features many varieties of orchids from over 50 different vendors. For orchid enthusiasts wanting to learn more there are also exhibits, lectures by experts and plenty of plants for sale. 

Admission to the show is $10, 9 am to 5 pm.
