This week marks the launch of the South Beach Jazz Festival, the first of its kind, from a stage on Euclid Circle. The festival will bring together a medley of classic, Latin, and New Orleans-style acts at stages all over South Beach. From December 7 - 11 various acts will play at South Beach hotels, theaters, and restaurants, including Paul Midon and Diane Schuur.
The festival is also working to raise public awareness of persons who have disabilities. Each act performing at the festival will showcase the artistry of at least one person with a disability. American Sign Language Interpreters will be provided at all of the Colony Theater events throughout the South Beach Jazz Festival as well as at the stage on Lincoln Road and Euclid Ave. on Saturday, Dec 10 from 1:00pm to 11:00pm.
