The Moth Story Slam at the Olympia Theater

The Moth StorySLAM comes to the Olympia Theater on Tuesday, June 14th to bring together storytellers with the theme of Fathers. Storytellers will prepare a five-minute true story about a father where actions is the central plot line. 

Tickets to the event are $10 – doors open at 6 pm, StorySLAM begins at 7pm. A guided tour of the historic Olympia Theater will take place during intermission.

This week celebrate Prince's birthday with PAMM and Poplife at a special Thursday night Purple Party. On June 9th, PAMM and Poplife will host a special happy hour on the terrace celebrating Prince’s birthday with Prince-inspired drink specials (available for purchase) as DJ Mike Deuce and Sweat Records' DJ Lolo play the singer’s greatest hits. Wear purple for free museum admission, party starts at 6:00 pm.

Celebrate World Ocean's Day with Jaeger-LeCoultre

In honor of World Ocean's Day storied Swiss watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre will host a breakfast on Wednesday, June 8 at 10:30 am as part of their Times of Time partnership with the UNESCO World Heritage Marine Program.

Guest speaker Alan Scott, Chief of Resource Education and Interpretation of the Everglades National Park, will talk about the Everglades – one of the 47 World Heritage Marine sites. 

Around since 1833, Jaeger-LeCoultre is the first manufacture to have been established in the Vallee de Joux, Switzerland. RSVP is required.
