Robert Theile at MDC

A SHOWCASE OF ONE OF MIAMI'S MOST INFLUENTIAL ARTISTS

The Museum of Art & Design at Miami Dade College presents Untitled (3 for 8) an exhibition of the art of Robert Thiele from September 4 to November 8.

Thiele arrived in Miami in 1966, after a stint as a Dallas Cowboy, becoming an art instructor at Miami Dade College, where he taught alongside painter Robert Huff, painter Salvatore La Rosa and the late sculptor Duane Hanson. His work is both intimate and imposing, mixing expressions of sculpture and painting with the use of concrete, plexiglass and stone.

UNTITLED (3 for 8) is organized by the Museum and curated by guest curator
Tyler Emerson-Dorsch.
