Analog Archives Part 1: Henry Stone in the 1950s

Discover Miami's musical history with the sounds from the 1950s from the archive of legendary music man Henry Stone. Digitized by City of Progress Studio with a Knight Foundation Grant, the recordings showcase a a range of musical styles including rock and roll, soul and country, which highlight Miami's dynamic musical past. 

Henry Stone was a prolific force in Miami's music history, owning several record labels including famed TK Records and had a hand in launching the careers of Ray Charles, James Brown, and KC & The Sunshine Band. 

The evening is presented with HistoryMiami Museum, Henry Stone Music USA, Inc., and Gramps.
