James Bay Plays at The Fillmore
/English Singer-songwriter James Bay makes a stop at The Fillmore Miami Beach on Wednesday, September 21, at 8:00 pm to play songs from his debut album Chaos and Calm, released last year.
In 2014, the guitarist released his single "Hold Back the River", which has been certified platinum, just before his album which rose to peak positions on charts all over the world. Bay was first inspired to play guitar after hearing Eric Clapton's Layla. He was discovered by record execs after a fan uploaded a video to YouTube of him at an open mic night in a London.
The Portland-based band Joseph, formed by three sisters, opens. There are limited tickets available. The Fillmore is a venue at the historic art deco Jackie Gleason Theater in the heart of South Beach.
