Thomas Bayrle at ICA Miami
/German Pop artist Thomas Bayrle's first US solo museum exhibition, "One Day on Success Street" is now open at ICA Miami. The exhibition dedicated to the artist features over 75 works from the 1960s through the present day, showcasing works across a range of mediums including collage, painting, and sculpture.
A highlight of the show is Wire Madonna, the artist's largest sculpture to date, was commissioned by the ICA for the museum's unique Atrium Gallery, and depicts a madonna and child in steel. The artist is known for his exploration of the impact of technology on humans through pop art and conceptual forms.
This will be the last exhibit in the museum's current location before it moves to its new home in the Design District in 2017. The exhibit closes March 27th.
